About us
My love affair with Afternoon Tea began thanks to a wonderful friend from England. As she nostalgically shared memories of home, she introduced me to the charming world of "Afternoon Tea." From the very first tea party we hosted together, I was utterly captivated.
When my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, Teatime became a sanctuary for us—a precious escape from the chaos of illness. It whisked us away to a realm of calm, joy, and serenity. This treasured experience sparked a dream: to share Teatime with others who need a moment of light during life's darker days.
Over the years, I've hosted countless friends for Teatime, and almost every guest would eagerly ask, "How do we do this?" Determined to provide answers, I embarked on a journey across the British Commonwealth—including England itself—to immerse myself in the authentic art of Afternoon Tea and its diverse rituals. Now, I’m excited to bring that knowledge to Lawrenceville and the Metro Atlanta community through etiquette education and delightful Teatime experiences.
Teatime is my refuge, whether shared with friends or accompanied by the pages of a good book. It's been a welcome retreat from life's challenges and an opportunity to weave closer bonds with loved ones.
Give it a try—I promise you'll fall in love with Teatime just as I have.
This company is lovingly named in honor of my mother, Gwen"dolyn," a free spirit who was an artist and author with a unique talent for savoring the sprinkles of life. Her boundless creativity and joy inspire everything we do.
